Accessibility statement

Accessibility statement (voluntary commitment)

This accessibility statement applies to the website www.elldus.de and all associated subpages.

As a family-friendly accommodation business, we want to make our digital services as accessible as possible and to keep improving them. Our company is not legally obliged to publish an accessibility statement – however, we would like to create transparency with this statement.

Status of accessibility

The website www.elldus.de is currently partially accessible. It follows the requirements of BITV 2.0 in conjunction with WCAG 2.1, conformance level AA.

Content that is not accessible

Some content on our website does not yet fully meet the recommendations for digital accessibility. This applies in particular to:

  • PDF documents that have not yet been made accessible,
  • some graphic elements and individual images without sufficient alternative text,
  • colour contrasts that in individual cases do not meet the recommended minimum values,
  • keyboard navigation, which is still limited in some places,
  • partly insufficient structuring of headings and semantic HTML elements,
  • content in Easy Language and sign language, which is not yet available throughout.

We are continuously working to identify and remove these barriers.

Preparation of this statement

This statement was prepared on 28 July 2025 and is reviewed and updated regularly.
