In a prime location with a view of the impressive Ore Mountains ridge, we welcome you to the highest town in Germany as a truly special destination - because our spacious apartment complex does not have the typical hotel character, but all kinds of highlights, our unique team spirit & attention to detail have its own charm. In addition to hiking & biking routes, great excursion destinations as well as the largest ski area of the Ore Mountains in the immediate vicinity, we look forward to pampering you.

For 15 years now, we have fully committed ourselves to the topic of family vacations. Through our own family, with daughter Melanie Duske and granddaughter Mila, we know exactly what is important in a family vacation. Step by step we have been able to expand the offer in recent years. In 2009 Fips, our little Elldus dragon, saw the light of day and has been the undisputed favorite of all children ever since. In 2011 we built and opened one of the largest and most popular playgrounds directly in front of our apartments, not only for our resort, but for all everybody.

With the Elldus Spa, only four years later, a 2000 sqm wellness area was created, where the focus is on relaxation for young and old. With the Fips Kinder Spa, they even have their own area and can relax in the sauna and pool, while mom and dad simply enjoy togetherness in the sauna worlds.
Since 01 January 2017, the Elldus Resort is a member hotel of the Familotel hotel cooperation. In order to make family vacations in the Ore Mountains even more eventful and exciting no matter what time of year, we are constantly expanding - since August 2019, children's eyes have been shining when cuddling and riding with our ponies and horses in the Pony Farm. In the challenging years 2020, further highlights were created with a new play barn including indoor & outdoor attractions, new Happy Club for child and baby care and the modernized and expanded restaurant. Finally, on the occasion of our 15th anniversary, we inaugurated our new soccer field and a short time later the new saloon with grill. 

And still there is no standstill: A tubing track will complete the outdoor area in 2023, the modernization of the apartments continues and a ski kindergarten is on the agenda...
